Fatty is almost 8 years old. It’s kind of amazing I’ve had a relationship with her all these years, considering how precarious the life of a feral cat can be. . . It’s a different relationship than what you’d have with a house cat where you’re the “owner” of the cat, and you confine them to your home. Fatty maintains a connection with me because she shows up just about every morning for 8 years and seeks me out. So it’s kind of a special bond.
