John Lennon said he was riding on an airplane one time that was having some kind of problem with the landing. So the plane spent a long time circling around the airport while they tried to fix the problem. Yoko — who was terrified of flying in the best of times — was completely freaking out, thinking it was all over and they were all going to die. Meanwhile the in-plane movie just happened to be Sgt Pepper starring the BeeGees which just keeps playing over and over like it’s stuck in an endless loop. And Lennon is wondering if this is how his life is going to come to an end. “It was one of the most surreal moments of my life,” he said. Ha ha.
